The Clovis Botanical Garden is designed as a destination for learning about plants in our environment and demonstrating water saving techniques in the landscape. The three acre site is nestled in the community creating high visibility and access for visitors and school groups. The general site layout utilizes a connection system of pathways that link the main building and courtyard to all aspects of the garden. An event center is planned for small gatherings of up to 300 along with a children's garden, home demonstration garden and California oak display among many other collections. Building techniques, landscape irrigation and cultural techniques will be emphasized while providing year-round interest in gardening in a near desert climate.
