Back to work!
Thursday. May 27, 2010.
It's been busy at the Broussard Associates office and
we've had a number of proposals rolling in. We have
a number of exciting projects on the horizon including
the remarkable Universally Accessible Park which is
beginning to come together. The park has garnered some special attention from the State of California
and we're looking forward to it all coming together.
Park / Water Treatment Facility in Toronto
Monday. March 29, 2010.
The ASLA Dirt Blog has a great article on an infrastructure project in Toronto which intends to create a multi-use park / water treatment facility. We couldn't help but be reminded of our own projects, Clovis Sewer Treatment Plant and soon to be posted Pump Station E. Both projects seek to create innovative ways of blending infrastructure with public spaces. Check them all out!
Website Improvements
Tuesday. February 2, 2010.
The layout of the website was changed to help improve loading times. Hopefully guests start seeing better performance! For those who are looking for higher resolution/quality images of our projects please contact us and we'd be happy to help! Also, keep an eye out in the coming weeks. We'll be adding some more photos of completed projects that allows viewers to see the final product of our design.
"Good Parks Make Good Cities"
Monday. January 11, 2010.
We may be a few months behind, but there's a great article by the Wall Street Journal on the influence of Lynden B. Miller in New York's public parks. The message of Miller and other advocates: the urban landscape is important. Read it here.
