Sports Town is an on-going project
in the core of downtown. Phase One
has been completed with high praise
from city staff for design completeness
and cooperative efforts. Enriched paving, seatwalls and planting at
street corners extend along sidewalks, including a walk of fame honoring
Valley athletes. Updated street lights, adorned with banners, alternate among street trees wrapped in LED lights making the downtown block more vibrant after sunset.
